Digging up blast furnaces, discovering the origins of Staffordshire pottery and looking at Roman Villas. Infact anything that they can back up with documentary evidence, wouldn't want to theorize now would we?

I smell a cynic!

I also feel there is no way the site would have ever been empty. All this talk of pork chops for Christmas dinner is making me hungry, but I just cannot imagine them abandoning the site to go away for the summer. I've been there in the summer, it was lovely. I got quite a tan.

Maybe they all went to Benidorm...
