Travel report ?

Actually kind of confirms suspicions raised when the recent digs began, but to have found a genuine Neolithic community so close to Stonehenge makes me wonder what the bloody archaeologists have been doing all this time!

Digging up blast furnaces, discovering the origins of Staffordshire pottery and looking at Roman Villas. Infact anything that they can back up with documentary evidence, wouldn't want to theorize now would we?

Last item to be mentioned - as usual :-(

But this is great stuff and looks like its going to run and run. The 'village' sounds a bit like the labourers' villages found adjacent to the Giza Pyramids - maybe similar kind of seasonal work pattern (plus a jolly good party at the same time). Good to see porkers in the picture again - just wait and see, it'll all come down to porkers in the end ;-)
