Had a closer look at the blue mermaid on my work computer today (larger screen than my laptop). Yes, I concede a certain freaky, fishy charm in a very asexual sort of way (looks like a woman but really - no legs??).

Botticelli's 'Birth of Venus'? No sorry can't see it, you must let the scales fall from your eyes and look again. The fishy goddess would be fine in someone's back garden, should they wish to do it up like Neptune's grotto, it is a relatively free country but surely not under an old willow at in the very heart of a special (and to many, sacred) landscape.
