Groove on Prostrate Stone ?

It really looked newer than 17th Century to me. More like 20th or 21st Century. Could even have been made by a power tool.

I guess we may never unravel this one.

it reminds me of a local cross incised stone that also has groove , but quite a bit wider than Meg's , possibly a xtian influence ?
