Groove on Prostrate Stone ?

it reminds me of a local cross incised stone that also has groove , but quite a bit wider than Meg's , possibly a xtian influence ?

That's the odd thing about that mark, it looks a bit narrow. Almost like someone started but didn't finish. The stones of the circle aren't nice soft sandy stuff like Meg, with her easily pecked spirals.

I'm quite intrigued now. Hope I remember to have a look next time I'm there.
