Great. Thanks for that. I'm sure we'll be hitting the pub, and will check out the local art scene. I bet there is some cool stuff to spend one's dosh on up there.

If anyone has suggestions for campsite I'd really appreciate it as well.

We had Hail in August while trudging across barren moorland (and you better believe there is a lot of that)

I got my (now) ex some earrings in the shape of a crescent moon with the calanish stones in the middle - I thought they were the best thing I had ever seen - she hated them!!! Oh well no accounting for taste.

Cool things to see. If you get bored with the stones (how could you) make a trip to southerly Harris to visit the Beaches - Looks like Barbados (but feels like Iceland)

The moonscapes of Harris are worth a look too.
