Cheers for the info Wideford. If the circular enclosure at Caistor is just south of the town walls, it could be the nearby amphitheatre??

Do you have a standard 6 fig OS map ref for the stuff at Markshall Old Heath. I'm curious if it was excavated when the Southern Bypass was built... the area around the Arminghall Henge is much maligned and has suffered an awful lot by being so close to Norwich.

No , I could only find it to 4 figures . Excavated initially 1938 then 1990-1 with a reference of Harford Farm and the bypass . Apparently the possible henge ( close to where two rivers meet ) has a large D-shaped enclosure showing only as a cropmark alongside it .
