With two competing theories there is the probability factor and this alters with advances in research. The experiment to move a stone was well carried out and this has moved that probability factor considerably. Your experience with the countries top archaeologists is certainly very different to mine - I've spoken to several of them, written to others, and without exception they (...) . That whole Stonehenge myth needs deconstruction. I write this after watching the DVD 'Hawkwind at Stonehenge - 1984'.

"Amazonia insists that reviewers should have purchased a copy of the book through their account and that 24 hours should have elapsed since the purchase."

Thanks for that, EB. News to me, I must say. I shall check it out. I have posted reviews on Amazon before, for books that I haven't purchased from Amazon. Maybe there has been a change of policy. The people at Amazon use all the tricks in the book to grab more sales and to marginalise / kill off all the bookselling competition. As a small publisher I sell a fair number of books through Amazon -- one has to, because of their sheer size and influence. But the margins are minimal. I probably lose money on every Amazon sale, because of the vast discounts that they insist on and because I have to carry all the postage costs for delivering small quantities ordered -- typically just one or 2 copies at a time..

Anyway, I'll honour my pledge on the free books (quota now used up for this month) and will trust that you folks will post honest reviews somewhere or other!!
