yup. 4years ago I photographed it rising over the heel stone and last year it was almost in the same place as this weeks full moon.
Northern standstill.

It's always my favourite moon, the northernmost rise and set, I'm just not always certain of the exact day. With the last three weeks of non-stop rain and gales, I was lucky to see the golden moon rise in the north east , above the fells at night, and later, to see it approaching its northernmost setting point, a beautiful ivory, just before sunrise, all in brief intervals between downpours, with dark clouds scudding by on a wild wind.
