Durrington Walls

I've been down there all week. Some amazing finds coming out including loads of arrowheads and bucket loads of pig bones.
Time Team are running around filming a TV special. The Dig goes on for another 3 weeks.

Cheers, Ishmael,
Sounds interesting - I look forward to the telly programme.
Regards,
TE.

I really reckon that some one should take a look at the area around Durringtons Norman church (close to the river). I grew up in Durrington and Amesbury and always felt that the church could be on an older site - for instance, it's interesting that stones used for the base of the "war memorial" were there well before ww1 (I've seen a photo dating from the late 1800's).
Might go visit the folks this week and take a look at the dig - praps we could hook up Ishmael?
