Yes Rhiannon, it's a beautiful spot, and that part of the moor is steeped in folklore... that part of the moor has provided a number of supposed 'sightings' from fairies to aliens! Streams run around the mound and surround it with water, which must have been seen as somekind of otherworldly or liminal space by the moor's prehistoric inhabitants. The nearby spa baths of White Wells show that the area continued to be considered important thru' to modern times.... then came a divot with a spray can!

May the gods/goddesses piss on his/her pillow!
