Well that's that stone fucked then... :-(

Does it look like it could be removeable, Stu?

Hey up IM,

I suppose it could be removed......but the paint looked a bit gloss like, so I guess if it was removed it might change how the stone looked
for a while (probably better than it looks now tho').
On the side of the stone facing out to the valley there were 'runes' painted, also in the same red shit.

'tis unbelievable........

nice one
stu.

Any beer cans left behind as well? This makes me so angry. What say we surveil one of these sites and when the little lightweights come along, introduce them to the consequences of their actions? But then we become as bad as them.

Well, I've just got in from a day on the moor and a visit to Willy Hall's Wood and unfortunately the state of the stone hasn't changed a bit. I took a few shots but I won't bother posting any because they don't really add anything to Stubob's shot from 6 months ago. This is such a shame 'cause this was one of the really Unsung sites on Rombald's Moor, made all the more charming by it's faint subtlety. So upsetting.

i dont know how accessable that stone is but a steam cleaner would fetch that paint off.downside being that it would look 'new' till mother nature reclaimed it..it saddens me to see the signature of total fuckwits is spreading from the towns n cities
