Looking on the 1:2500 scall map of Mayburgh Hnege if you look east There is Brougham Hall marked. There is also an arc emabankment and the road circumnavigates the hall, giving an appearance similar to a henge.
What do others think, could this be a much abused remains of one. It is in the right place to form an allighment with Mayburgh Henge and king arthurs round table.

Got to be worth a look?

Sorry just had a close look at the map and you're right - the alignments are spot on - hmmm why didn't I notice that on Saturday... !!
But it would be very symmetrical - a bit too tidy?
Very tempting!!

I drove past Brougham Hall to have a look at this. It`s a big embankment which appears to be a part of the hall`s defences.

I visited this place today... I would agree that the topography of the "embankment" is indeed mostly natural and there fore unlikely to have been a henge similar to Mayburgh (NB No expert)
If you look again at the OS map, the land around the Hall is a bit higher than that of the other sites.
It was impossible to get a photograph representing the layout...
I took some pictures of the inof board which I will persuse and post anything interesting shortly

I think it's just a massive coincidence that the position of the sites are in a threesome.
