but look at the East of the island. no mountains. east anglia is very flat.
the figure follows the penines.

i'm sure if it was an amalgamation of trade route knowledge, there would have been an awareness of all the roads into the east, but the penines is, like, the main road.

with this in mind, the whole figure is an uncanny match.
