that's cool. but i never heard of iron age coins before - i thought money came later. if they stuck the horse on a coin then it must have had some 'value' right? but money used to be holy too didn't it?
the thing about this horse is that it's this very beautiful - almost picasso-like - image to the modern eye when seen from above - a perspective never enjoyed by its makers - unless you take astral projection seriously (which I might).
Last year that there was news of that blind guy who did those amazing paintings by 'feel' - that seems interesting and somehow important to me in understanding the shapes and forms of these places. I don't belive they were 'seen' then the way they are now - and that's important in terms of how we imagine the meaning of alignments no?
