It'd be bloody difficult without a hosepipe and I doubt there's a tap on the top of the hill. Bastards. Shall we just go with a bucket and sponge? I can't bear that rubbish being up there pronouncing to the world that it was an acceptable thing to do.

I vote we go to C4 and paint a huge giant with his knob out - turn the tables on the morons, see how they like that.

By the way, anyone know the rationale behind putting it next to the Uffington horse? Couldn't it have been painted anywhere?

I'm off to email the NT now.

I don't think targeting C4 will acheive anything. Targeting the NT is a possibility - after all, they are the ones supposed to be looking after the site 'for the nation'.

There has been another Eye created from Rocks on the shores on Loch Ness, and a crop circle has been produced somewhere as well. Lots of rumours of a similar stunt at Stonehenge, but nothing 'concrete' yet (sorry!!)

There are no facilities on the hill. SO God know how they got rid of it.

And talking of facilities, get this- there isn't even a litter bin next to the place in the car park where the ice cream van parks up!

I spoke to my friend in Uffington who's studio (my dream is his reality!) overlooks the White Horse and there's nothing to see now apparently. All gone.

Still, the ugly emotional scar we all feel will not so easily be hosed down.
