300 Ft wide for fucks sake - I am presuming that they just wanted a logo to use as a TV advert like the BBC balloon - correct me if I am wrong but in these days of digital imaging technology wouldnt it have been a better idea to digitally modify a picture of the White Horse.

Indeed.

But there’s no publicity value in that. People are talking about it - it made the BBC news – that level of publicity would be well worth 2 grand of Channel 4’s money. I suspect they will be chuckling away to themselves hoping for even more of a furore.

I recon they could have done it with Digital technology really easily. After all a flat logo must be easier to do a computer than a moving dinosaur!

Perhaps they figured it might get a few people upset and gain loads of valuable column inches - well worth the £2000 investment. or perhaps I am just being synical.
