And I agree with your sentiments - the hypocrisy of it all, not mention the ruination of someone's day out when they've come to see a preserved heritage site. Not that that matters a flying f**k when there's £2,000 up for grabs - "Rich, rich, we're rich beyond our wildest dreams!"

300 Ft wide for fucks sake - I am presuming that they just wanted a logo to use as a TV advert like the BBC balloon - correct me if I am wrong but in these days of digital imaging technology wouldnt it have been a better idea to digitally modify a picture of the White Horse.
