But many Neolithic enclosures have later burial monuments inside them, as do many sites of later date. Cauewayed enclosures containing Bronze Age barrows include well-known examples such as Robin Hood's Ball, Windmill Hill, and Knap Hill. The only way a cairn or barrow could offer a clue to the dating of the enclosure is if there is a direct physical relationship - one overlapping or cutting into the other. Even then it's not always clearcut - look at the debate over the relationship between Conquer Barrow and the henge bank at Mount Pleasant, Dorchester.
