Yes, I think this is the case.

Pete may have appeared to be immensely gracious to you in 2004. I do not doubt that. However I think your confusion arises due to certain fallings-out between PeteG and other members of this board over some inexcusable behaviour. I could go into some hideous and graphic detail, but I will spare you such cruelty on a public messageboard.

I for one would love to say hello, whatever date is decided. My good lady has been treating me with bemused indifference whenever I mention anything with 'megalithic' in the sentence! Perhaps backup would help her share my enthusiasm!

PS. Jane - tried dragging her along to devils quoits today, she wouldn't get out of the car so we had to drive back along to the Rollrights this afternoon. I'll go on my own next weekend! I'll let you know how I do.

I don't guess there's any chance the venue could be moved to Gobekli Tepe, huh?
