There's part of it remaining. The colour of the patina is different and there are clear fracture marks where the missing piece has been. My speculation is that the stone has been inside a tomb or tumulus until about 1700-1750 when the land was improved and walled. The stone went into the wall, as a capstone, and I suspect that was when it was chipped. The back one's perfect (but embarassing).
