It certainly would be fairly unique. Some of the Loughcrew motifs in Cairn T could be representations.

How do you know that one has been chipped off? Did you witness or perform said chipping operation? Or is there part of it remaining?

There's part of it remaining. The colour of the patina is different and there are clear fracture marks where the missing piece has been. My speculation is that the stone has been inside a tomb or tumulus until about 1700-1750 when the land was improved and walled. The stone went into the wall, as a capstone, and I suspect that was when it was chipped. The back one's perfect (but embarassing).
