Just so that I don't end up very confused, am I right in thinking
that Wandlebury (Cambridgeshire) is just one of a number of
similar sites identified by Lethbridge?

If not, what's the connection between Plymouth and Wandlebury?

OK. You're right. A bit confusing.

The Gogmagog book is mainly concerned with the Wandlebury figures, also detailed in the Geoffrey texts.

In the discussion about hill figures and giant myths he explores the Devon figure rumours/lore and comes to the conclusion that they were on the cliffs by the Hoe.

I'll pull out a couple of key paragraphs this evening to try and make sense of it :-)
