Hi All,

I posted once before about this find on Gray Hill.

Here's some betters pictures I took yesterday. Is just a cattle enclosure, misc earthwork ? Have a look, it could be something. One stone looks like it is deliberatly placed in a standing position ?

Could the OS have missed this site ?

Regs,

Ike

The standing stone makes me think of Graystane in Orphir, so I expect your site will have been 'explained away' as glacial erratics too :-(

What the grid ref for that site?
Looks like field clearance of Sarsen pibbles but could have been the remains of a monument
that was cleared when the goverment forced farmers to up production of crop during the war.
I'd like to take a look sometime.

Can't say I have any wise comments to make. What do you think it is Ike?
