Have you seen the little discussion going on about this over on The Portal?

I seem to be singlehandedly trying to defend the rock art against people who, in my opinion, should know better.

Any input from any of you would be welcome.

Just playing a bit of Devil's Advocate Baz - the way the Chinese Whispers have developed with this story is extraordinary. The concern was first raised by Portal Contributor Adam 'Archaeology Safaris' Stanford so see his posts there for information from the 'horses mouth'. I agree a sign is the way to go. Stop anyone climbing it - perhaps. Presumably there are lots of other boulders thereabouts with no rock art.
