The walk up Keadeen was amazing - how many cairns can you see at 675m? The sun was lighting up The Brusselstown Ring beautifully and I (hopefully) got some great photos of it from above. Sadly, when I got close to the top of Keadeen the cloud closed in and I couldn't see a feckin' thing. When I was halfway down again it cleared! Sonofabitch!
What a pity. I've looked at Keadeen a couple of times and thought about it but always had 2nd thoughts. It's quite a striking mountain, seemingly detached from those around it. Still and all, quite a venture and fair play to you for headin up.

The three cairns on Keadeen are definitely 'for the completest only' sites. However, the satisfaction of climbing the bugger is great and on a good day the views must be mind-blowing. Found a possible stone row on the way up too :-)
