I found the 'new' stones very easily. They seem to have been cleared recently - I know I walked that path once looking for them! I also found and cleared one of 'my' bullauns, but the long sausage-shaped one eluded me, because of the high (yet thankfully dying) bracken. I'll head back in late November and clear it.

The walk up Keadeen was amazing - how many cairns can you see at 675m? The sun was lighting up The Brusselstown Ring beautifully and I (hopefully) got some great photos of it from above. Sadly, when I got close to the top of Keadeen the cloud closed in and I couldn't see a feckin' thing. When I was halfway down again it cleared! Sonofabitch!

What a pity. I've looked at Keadeen a couple of times and thought about it but always had 2nd thoughts. It's quite a striking mountain, seemingly detached from those around it. Still and all, quite a venture and fair play to you for headin up.
