This is my well-trodden patch and plenty to chose from. Close to Capel Garmon are the remains of Maen Pebyll and the views are stunning from Maen Y Bardd above the village of Rowan across the Conway Valley. I have often used a great little book "Walks in Ancient Wales" by Robert Harris (ISBN: 978-1-85058-797-2) alongside the OS map to get around. So close to the gem that is Anglesey too. Happy days!

Yep it's got to be Tal y fan, Cerrig pryffaid and Maen y Bardd. If you don't mind a bit of a walk Hafodygors wen isnt far away, i may have mentioned that place before. You can get the car quite close to the Druids circle and friends if you go round the corner to Penmaenmawr, go past the twin pillars in the car and up the slope.
But if you want some natural beauty, the fairy glen is an outstandingly wonderful magical place about two miles west of Capel Garmon, half a mile south of Betsy.

Have fun , I know I would.
