Completely misleading when combined with 'road' in the same paragraph.

and, as he says, they can be immensely wide and can make diversions to avoid obstacles.....

One of the suggested routes for the stones for Brodgar was from Vestra down the Loch of Harray , until it was discovered that there was no Loch (it was a bog )when the stones were erected .
