Again, I'm not sure that EH are to blame for placing restrictions on access in response to greater numbers. What are they to do? Nothing?
To be honest Nigel i really couldn't care what they do at Stonehenge, the place has such a bad image and delivers such a horrible visitor experience i now almost regard it as a non entity (probably a better way of describing it that wont come to me atm) so it's off my radar as far as ancient sites go, i wouldn't be at all upset if i never approached within eyesight of it again.
Let EH have their cash cow, as long as they keep their hands off Avebury and the rest of "our" sites. I don't regard SH as belonging to the people anymore.
