Campsites are marked on the map - tourist guide maps particularly - with wigwam symbols. My suggestion would be to go west to the Lleyn peninsula and to take an OS map along. Just look for the standing stones that are marked on it. Anglesey's close by too. Happy camping - I've spent years in a tent - always put the back of it into the wind and you'll be ok.
