ooh I've not heard of it but it sounds interesting. I'm sure we're all a bunch of mongrels. It would be interesting to get your dna tested like that. I mean you tend to think people in the past didn't move around much but even doing a bit of Victorian family history on my family they were moving about all over the country. I guess there are always those families that stay in one village forever and still do. They found that chap who was related to the prehistoric man from Cheddar Gorge and he didn't live so far away! what a thrill though.

Ah! Some channel (probably 5) did something like this recently. Hugely entertaining programme about people who proclaimed themselves to be 100% British (including the grotesque Garry Bushell and various other misguided, right wing numptys).

Their faces were a treat when it was revealed they were ALL at least part Asian/African/German/French/etc... The person that came out MOST British was some aristocrat whose family rarely left their living room, let alone the country!

Should be good...
