It's staying dark so long I'm actually starting to get anxious stirrings that it might not come back*. I'm not prepared to slaughter any animals but I have comfort eaten a piece of cheese.

*yeah with the non-21st century bit of my brain.

I can beat that - I was parked on Wrotham Hill [Coldrum was too muddy and too far to walk with my back] and the Police came round to check what I was doing. When I pointed to the sky and said, "Won't be long, nearly finished" they looked at me strangely, until I reminded them that the reason it was getting dark was due to the eclips..."Oh yeah, forgot about that..."
