we just stood in the garden for the last 20 minutes - got some very odd looks from passers-by!

My 300mm lens is doing its best but the long exposures (about 6sec's at f5.6) are causing the moon to blur. Nice orange co;our though.
I wish I had a telescope to get a bit closer also.
