Cheers Wideford! J found that one earlier & by searching 'oldtidsminder' (which is mentioned on there & seems to mean prehistoric or prehistoric monument) I found a FANTASTIC site that even has popup maps!!! http://www.visitdenmark.com/uk/en-gb/Menu/turist/turistforside.htm

BORING BIT FOR PEEPS WANTING TO GO TO DENMARK!
Just for anyone else that may find it useful, it's a bit clunky & not exactly obvious how to navigate to the prehistoric stuff - I came in 'backwards' & have been getting the English translation in a really labourious way!!!!

If you use that link, it should be in English, but otherwise, at the top rightish there's a little Danish flag. Click it & it allows you to change to English.

Anyway, once you've got the homepage in English, on the main horizontal menu, hover over 'activities'. A dropdown should appear - click on 'attractions'. This takes you to a search page. Once there, the left hand menu includes 'relics & ruins'. Click it & wait for the page to load. http://www.visitdenmark.com/uk/en-gb/Menu/turist/oplevelser/attraktioner/Oldtidsminderogruiner/oldtidsminderogruiner.htm Then you can choose, say, an island from the 'regions' dropdown.

I selected Fyn (Funen) from the dropdown coz it's where we're staying. Once you've selected 'region', wait for the page to load again & then click on 'find' & for Fyn it came up with 44 sites on Fyn & Langeland!!! From there it's logical.

Anyway, so far I've logged 31 sites, with maps, just on Fyn & Langeland - happy lepidoptera!!!!

love
