Personally I hadn't got you down as 'one of them', so (to me at least) you obviously don't bang on in a preaching-stylee about how we are all missing the point and our lives aren't complete without the arcane knowledge.

Like Pete I have seen dowsers find underground objects, just like I've seen some very expensive geofiz kit find underground things.

As far as I'm concerned you are not in the group described by any of the comments you quote.

Oh goodness, please<i> do</i> give me a good talking-to if I ever come across like that! I'm much more of an 'I experience this but you may or may not experience the same thing at the same time and place as me, however both our experiences are equally valid' type of person.
