Thanks for the update Gordon. IMHO a fair assessment of the trials and tribulations of experimental archaeology and the problems of working with TV.
I'm glad you emphasised the exhausion experienced by the pullers during the stone rolling episode, it was obvious to all who were there.

Thanks, I tried to report as honestly as possible. It was unfortunate, both for Simon and for the experiment, that the accident happened when it did, as I believe the major flaw in the transport on rollers theory was about to be exposed.

However I certainly learned a great deal from the experiments and all in all it was great fun.

I'm now looking forward to testing some new ideas next year.
