Spirit of Place

The second part is not common, but it does appear on a few of them.

It is certainly represented on Muiredeach's Cross at Monasterboice - one of the best and datable to before 923 AD (when Muiredeach died).

I am sure in 923 AD they all remembered what truly caused the "fall of man." I believe the fall of man happened when we got so lost in the Ego-Mind that we could no longer communicate with the divine and fell into the dark belief that we were alone or being punished. Sorry but the Bible has alot of crap in it.... if you ask me.

Reference Tombo’s original supposition that the bible is vague about the Fall I think that's questionable. It's not specific, but it's clear if you know what I mean. I can’t be bothered to post it all but there are loads of sites that give chapter and verse (literally) on what happened. God said don’t, or you’ll die, Adam did, Satan fell (at or before this time) and although Adam didn’t die for another 200 years there are zillions of specific references showing that the original “die” had meant “be withdrawn from God” and that all subsequent humans have been born in sin. I’m sure early Xtians would have got the full message, long before Milton.
