I have a Garmin eTrex (baby yellow one) which is excellent. I don't use mine with my PC so can't help you there.

The eTrex is quite popular among folks here, probably because it's quite cheap :-) However, it is good.

My friend uses one of these - along with a PDA

Works very well - has an overlay with Autoroute - nice....

Good price - looks good - what more do you want

I was looking at them myself - Will probs get one at the weekend

Did anyone here enter or even win the competition that was flagged up on the MA for the BBC Southampton website - a treasure hunt style thing - with a unit as the prize? Im sure the closing date was April sometime...
