This is what keeps putting me off Berghaus for boots (I like Bergaus coats, fleeces, waterproofs, etc). Why can't they stick a decent grippy Vibram sole on?
I'm still happy with a three year old pair of Scarpa boots but the soles are getting worn down now, especially at the heel. They've done a few hundred miles and a lot of hills since I got them, although they weren't cheap. I doubt they'd do reheeling/soling.
