The other thing I wanted to say about the programme, which seems like a 'great idea' and well intentioned was that it is almost impossible to make a programme such as this without spoiling the subject at the same time. Apart from being too panoramic to be 'secret' (except down in the caves which are out of the reach of most people) with many aerial shots. Secret places are often about a moment in time, the slant of the sun, time of year, wild flowers, sounds such as birdsong and running streams ... etc.

Reckon that sums up my thoughts, too, June

By definition a place can't be 'secret' if it's on a primetime TV show presented by two attractive (I assume the bloke's attractive?) people from Countryfile. Let's say one would need to time it just right to consider Llyn Cwm Llwch as such. Don't go skinny dipping there unless you want to end up on YouTube in short order. And derision from North Walian friends over the 'Dragon's Breath', although obviously coloured by the marked North/South divide, is not altogether unwarranted in my opinion. I can hear the laughter from here.

Having said that, those new to the area may well have put the kettle on afterwards thinking 'what a wonderful place. Perhaps I should go'. In that respect programmes such as this are priceless. Curiosity can not be forced upon someone. It has to grow of its own accord.
