The new facilities are never going to satisfy everyone - though it’s probably not too late to suggest (insist?) on some things – like quiet (electric) vehicles from the Visitor Centre to the monument – no advertising on them and painted in a colour sympathetic to the landscape: that actually seems to be the intention if English Heritage’s Proposals for Stonehenge video is anything to go by.
Sounds more like Tesco's every day! Thank goodness I came from an age (just) that had free movement within the stones and wasn't influenced by all the garbage spoken about it and profiteering from it over the years.
