No matter how much I read, hear about, learn, look at and generally research Silbury hill, I remain totally gobsmacked at the astounding achievement carried out by our distant ancestors. They were truly special and whatever drove them on to complete the task at hand must have been something we can only feel remarkably envious of if it meant that much to them.
