Yeah, since the Scots were trying to pretend they were the true, righteous inhabitants and the Pictish kings had been just underlings I understand the King Lists were completely forged and many Scots kings simply invented to fill in inconvenient gaps... very political, to 'prove' to the Pope that Scotland had always been a Soverign state and wasn't a fief of The English King. Worked as well, but doesn't help unravel the past, does it?

Sometimes Prehistory's a lot easier to understand than history. Or perhaps not.......
