Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know anything about the history of this hillfort. It is situated about a mile to the East of Llantrisant. According to Coflein (RCAHMW) it is Iron age. There is an account of there being a battle there in 873AD, but this came from a document 'Gwentian Brut' which was 'found' by the imaginative Iolo Moganwg.
Any info would be appriciated.
Branddu.
