How many of the millions of joint stakeholders would have said "yes, we approve... I dunno Nigel, I despair. Your comment above could equally be applied to the Irish referendum result on the latest EU 'constitution' treaty. How many people in the EU are saying No, we don't approve. And how much notice is being taken of the people's opinion? What part of No do the politicians and bureaucrats not understand? Something's gotta give.
