THIS CACHE IS AN EASY WALK.
PARKING AVAILABLE AT N50 06.019 W005 38.072
THE PRINCIPAL ATTRACTION OF THIS CACHE IS A SMALL FARMING HAMLET.
THIS HAMLET WAS ESTABLISHED IN 500 BC. IT WAS DISCOVERD BY MINERS WHO WERE PROSPECTING FOR TIN,AND THE UNDERGROUND CHAMBER (KNOWN IN CORNWALL AS A FOGOU) WAS EXCAVATED IN 1863-8.
WE THINK THIS IS A REALLY NICE CACHE WHICH YOU COULD EASILY SPEND AN HOUR INVESTIGATING THE AMAZING CACHE AREA.THE CHILDREN WOULD LOVE IT! PLENTY OF HIDING HOLES/ROCKS.
WE NEVER EVEN KNEW THE PLACE EVEN EXISTED UNTIL WE FOUND IT ON THE OFF CHANCE! THE UNDERGROUND CHAMBER IS VERY INTERESTING!
BEWARE OF MUGGLES I SHOULD THINK THIS WOULD BE A POPULAR LOCATION IN THE SUMMER!
YOU COULD ALSO TAKE A PICNIC!

CACHE IS UNDERNEATH THE SINGLE LARGE ROCK IN THE CORNER

"ENJOY" INDEED

Goody goody. I love the sport of "tossing the cache" (ancient sites only of course). My record is 29 yards.
