You're right enough there.
It's bringing back memories of some seriously nervous moments crossing from SE to SW. Even going back into the middle was a bit fraught. It was tricky enough just pushing a small chair, I'd hate to think how dodgy it would be for someone using a fullsize powerchair. No more than in many villages I suspect, but considerably more so than in most heritage sites.
Such things are unlikely to ever be perfect I suppose.
