Hi Paul,

I can't have been far off. I was also aiming to get up onto High Badgergate at the time, so was in a 'keep pressing uphill' frame of mind... I must've walked right past it!

Dunno' when I'll be up that way next... haven't been around Ilkley for a few months now. I'm still freelancing out in Doncaster during the week, so that throws a swerve on any hope of mid-week excursions... but we should get together sometime soon tho'.

Did you spot the carvings on Foldshaw Ridge? Also, there's a bunch if you take the path to the left from the Lattice Rock, turn left again by the old mile stoop, over the muddy stream n' there's a low cluster of rocks with cups + grooves.
