I can understand that feeling that Cornwall can evoke.
I moved here 3 years ago from the south-east because
I just found myself wishing I was here all the time.
Ended up in a funny little place called Lostwithiel,
partly because the name sounded Tolkienesque. Funny
reason to move to a place but there you are ...
Me and family visit Hurlers regularly, but I have not ventured much more onto the moor, except to climb Rough Tor last spring.
Keep meaning to do more exploring. Spent an afternoon at Boscawen-un a while back. Very interesting. The
light went all weird and it started to rain, and I sheltered
under the leaning stone. The sun came out again, and gaily pranced about with some invisible Cornish piskies.
Which was nice.
